• I demonstrate good knowledge and expertise in all Radiographic procedures actively participating currently in all aspects of imaging procedures such as
1) MRI imaging studies like , MRI angiography with and without contras ( Head,Neck, Renal, peripheral).
• special MRI studies like( spectroscopy, perfusion,DTI,MRCP, prostate, urography,fistulogram)
• and routine studies (Brain,spine, neck,thorax, abdomen,pelvis,and all joints and extremities.
2) CT scan procedures including CT angiograms (Coronary, Cardiac, Pulmonary, renal, Carotid and Circle of Willis, and Peripheral Angiograms), Brain, Chest, Abdomen & Pelvic CT scans, CT scan Trauma A&E, CT Urogram, Colorectal scans, CT Guided Biopsy, Pediatric CT scan and Musculoskeletal CT scan. I have experience working with Siemens defination AS 128 slice CT scan, Siemens go,top 32 slice CT, Phillips 128 slice CT System, and I am enthusiastic to explore other models.
3) Fluoroscopic investigations such as intravenous Urography, Hysterosalpingography, Barium studies. 4) huConventional x-ray examinations (skull, sinuses, upper and lower extremities, abdomen and pelvis e.t.c )
• I am also able to effectively provide Radiological services in all units of the Hospital such as theatre, wards, in-patient and out-patient clinic, accident and emergency unit, intensive care unit, Pediatrics and special care baby units. I have profound knowledge of the relevant radiographic techniques in trauma cases.I am hardworking, highly motivated and compassionate when it comes to Radiography practice and over the years I have been able to develop the ability to apply cognitive reasoning in learning, evaluation and application of acquired knowledge appropriately most especially in decision making process such as deciding which protocol to best adopt for my patients, appropriate projections and when to modify techniques to suit patient’s condition.

I am jaice joseph, HCPC (Reg: RA088056) registered Diagnostic radiographer. I have done Diploma in CT
SCAN Technology from Amrita paramedical Institute, Kerala, India, in 2002 I graduated in Bachelor in Radiation Technology in 2017 . I really enjoy the patient care and technical advancement in radiotherapy. In these 13 years of my Career experiences, I have maintained a very positive, compassionate and ever helping attitude towards my patients, colleagues, encouraging and challenging each other, as well as I believe putting patients first and team working is the key to success of any organization especially NHS. I started my carrier as a junior Diagnostic radiographer at holy family hospital .. I got experienced in CT and x-ray machines during that time. As a junior radiographer I always work under the supervision of a senior radiographer.after that i was there as a senior Radiographer to handle CT and general radiography department also . there i have fix duty in every day 8 hours duty fix Sunday week off.i controlled junior technicians and managing there shift also handling TLD badges quality and checking and sending every three months for reading radiation dose conducting class for junior technicians awareness of radiation safety. I believe these practical experiences are very valuable in the current modern technology which newly qualified Diagnostic radiographer won’t get these chances.
Being an effervescent person always try to update my knowledge and skill. I moved to Saifee Hospital where I started my job in modern technology as CT and MRI. There experienced fully familiar & confident to independently perform the MRI&;CT imaging techniques like examination of Head, Neck, Mediastinum, Abdomen, Pelvis and Musculoskeletal system. I am equally confidence to perform with following machines like Siemens 1.5 tesla mri and 256 slice Philips CT scanner also . This institute was a highly challenge for me, even though I learnt quite quickly due to my starvation to learn modern technology and also help my supervisors auditing and research works. I understood that to achieve my goal I need to get more and knowledge and different technical aspects so decided to move To my knowledge, I moved to Sir HN Reliance foundation hospital as CT AND MRI radiographer where they were set upping advanced practice with Advanced machine. MRI and CT procedures we have two mri scanner and two CT scanner also both MRI machines are 3T machines from GE premier and architect and somatom force dual source CT scanner also GE Revolution 256 slice CT in emergency department for trauma cases. We are doing all types Body head and neck study's and all type of angiography and especially cardiac and coronary angiography and cabg protocol also Tavi protocols. In night there is one Technician handle this all Departments. I was been actively involved in building the “paperless” workflow in our department from the beginning and able to build a seamless electronic medical records and verification system in the department. I have got a chance to train and support the other staff about the equipment and techniques what I learnt from hospital. |
