I am an enthusiastic diagnostic Radiographer who loves to take care of his patients. I am very professional and good in IT.
In my recent job, I am the in charge of the general x-ray department and x-ray imaging in the emergency unit.
I am always available on standby emergency calls and cover shifts. I do work without supervision.
I'm experienced in IV cannulation but not certified. I am physically built strong and I can withstand the weight of the lead apron for longer time during theater procedures and helpful when clearing the place up for setup.

I am a highly motivated, active, diligent, assertive and standard-driven HCPC registered Radiographer with a BSc. in Diagnostic Radiography. I have done my BSc. Diagnostic radiography from a prestigious University and graduate with a second-class degree in Radiography.
After completing my degree I joined at ROENTGEN SCANS WORLD diagnostic centre. I worked there for more than 3 years. Roentgen Scans World PVT LTD is a NABH accredited health care provider in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India which provides 24 hours diagnostic facilities to many nearby distant hospitals and clinics in Tamil Nadu state. After 3 years I resigned from roentgen scans world and I joined at NIZAR Hospital. Now i am currently working at NIZAR hospital as a senior radiographer.
My expose with medical field in the Centre & Hospital as developed and moulded me into a better technologist. I have worked under the supervision of good senior technologist which helped me to handle various radiology modalities like MRI, CT, X-Ray and OPG.
I have got ample knowledge in doing both adult and paediatric MRI studies including brain ,spine ,abdomen, MRCP ,extremities, MSK, special procedures including functional MRI,DTI, Perfusion, Defecogram , angiographic Procedures and attended training in cardiac MRI. I am well trained to handle MRI scan under general anaesthesia and IV sedation. I have a good knowledge about the physics and safety measures of MRI machine. I am experienced to the safe administration of MRI contrast media using high pressure injector and other prescribed medicines including the use, contraindications, adverse reactions and treatments as appropriate to the required level of training and competence. I have submitted a project on the topic of ROLE OF MRI IN SPINAL CORD INJURY.
I have experience in taking MRI for uncooperative patients and using appropriate fast/movement artifact reduction/ metal artifact reduction sequence. And also well educated in using emergency buttons such as quenching button, red button and table movement stop button in suitable situations.
EXPERIENCE IN CT
I am well experienced to handle independently all the routine, trauma CT imaging and contrast studies also advanced CT techniques including cerebral, carotid, pulmonary, renal and peripheral angiography. I used to handle the imaging during CT guided biopsy, CT cisternography, CT myelography, CT under general anaesthesia, CT under iv sedation. Advanced brain perfusion and body perfusion, Low radiation scanning technics, CT virtual bronchoscopy and colonoscopy, Lung nodule assessment, Liver volumetry, Dental CT, CT bone mineral analysis. I am well educated about the uses, reactions, contra indications and safe administration of CT contrast media using high pressure injector in appropriate flow rate and volume with respect to the size of iv cannula, patient weight and age. I always ensuring the CT protocols within the radiation limit (ALARA principle) and Low radiation dose protocols.
EXPERIENCE IN X-RAY, PORTABLE, THEATRE AND ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE IN OPG & DEXA
I am experienced in all routine x-rays of both adult and paediatric cases also i am capable of handling portable x-ray in casualty ,ICU, Ward, OT and I am efficient to use theatre radiography and special radiographic procedure like AUG ,MCUG and Barium studies .I am experienced in taking DEXA scan and OPG. I have attended training classes in basic life support and emergency CPR.
SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
I am a proficient user of RIS, PACS and HIS systems as well. Moreover, my highest priority is always patient care. I will always try to explain the procedure to the patient prior to the examination so that they could get rid of the anxiety and tension about the procedure.

I have a wide range of technical and interpersonal skills. I have a good understanding of the principles of radiation physics and radiation safety, as well as a solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to alert radiologists to unexpected abnormalities on images, possibly requiring further investigation. I always respond correctly to situations where the patient's life is at risk, by providing swift and accurate images in a calm and professional manner. I find out artifact and rectify it to obtain image quality.
Within this NHS role, I understand I will have a duty to ensure both myself and my work colleagues are safe at all times and that I follow all regulatory guidelines and procedures, especially in respect of maintaining confidence, safeguarding, equality and diversity, health and safety and conducting risk assessments.

Over the years, I have gained considerable work and life experiences are a match for the job description. For example, in my previous role I had to communicate with people on a daily basis, often having to listen to them carefully, asking them appropriate questions, and then thinking quickly to provide a suitable solution to their needs.
During one particular interaction with a customer whose English was not their first language, I altered my style of communication and I asked a series of questions to get to the bottom of their issue which then enabled me to quickly meet their needs.
Whilst carrying out my duties at work I always follow my training and I remain focused on the task in hand. During another recent situation, I was communicating with a customer who was becoming frustrated and irate.
I remained calm; I listened to their concerns and I then intervened at an appropriate time by explaining how I was going to resolve their issue in a timely manner.
Throughout my work I always focus on putting people and customers first and I ensure that I represent the organisation I am employed by in a positive manner. These transferable experiences will enable me to always provide a first class level of service to NHS patients. I understand the Ionizing Radiation Regulations for Medical Exposures and apply them with all diligence to my work. By way of doing this is ensuring correctly identify my patient, ask every woman of child bearing age about the possibility o being pregnant before carrying out my investigations, ensuring that radiation doses are kept low as reasonably practicable, ensuring that referrals are properly justified to ensure their necessity and if alternative investigations could be carried out, applying careful technique, Adequate collimation, use of lead aprons and similar vests, etc. The later I do in conjunction with senior colleagues, Radiologists and Referring Physicians. When carrying out any ward/theatre procedure; I ensure that all staffs, relatives and patients within the area including myself are properly protected and strive to avoid accidental exposure to radiation. I participate in departmental quality assurance procedures ensuring that radiation monitoring and Personal protective devices are properly handled in good shape and are safe for use. I ensure all equipment faults are promptly reported.
I am also able to effectively provide Radiological services in all units of the Hospital such as theatre, wards, in-patient and out-patient clinic, accident and emergency unit, intensive care unit,
Pediatrics and special care baby units. I have profound knowledge of the relevant radiographic techniques in trauma cases. Renewal Date 29/02/2024). Mubarak Al Kabeer is a Medical college hospital having 900 beds and having all medical
departments (Ortho, Neuro, Cardiac, Urology, Gastro enterology, Radiology ect) and the department of Imaging
science consists of 4 MRI scanner (1.5 and 3T Ge discovery and Optima), 4 CT scanners ( 64 slices GE Revolution
Series) 2 Fluoroscopic units, 2 Interventional units and several static and portable X -ray units. I have also experience
in 1.5T Siemence Symphony and Hitachi 0.4T machines. The hospital is fully equipped with HIS and the department
of imaging science working in RIS and PACS systems.
As General radiographer I can able to do all routine and special radiographic procedures in X ray,CT,MRI and
Interventional radiography.
Also I am working here as a clinical instructor giving training for the students and new comers.
I am looking for a center which can improve my skills and knowledge more and I believe that NHS is the best one
