Make sure the patient consent letter and eGFR value tests are done before IV contrast media are to be administered and Monitor the patient after examination for any allergic reactions. Aware of MHRA safety regulations for MRI safety and have good working knowledge of MRI, CT and X-rays physics. I am familiar with safe radiographic techniques to reduce radiation risk for patients and radiographers by safety protocol given by Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR (ME) R) . Assess the radiation risk to the patient and ensure it is kept As Low As Reasonably Practical Principle (ALARP), and assess any additional risk involved with in your modality and Know how to adapt the technique accordingly. Well aware of 10-day and 28-day rules. I have never missed any mandatory trainings and keep myself familiar with hospital emergency codes such as natural disaster, missing patients, trauma care, and cardiac arrests/crash calls.
