JSS Medical college is 1800 bedded Hospital and state of the art Department of Radiology is equipped with Philips Ingenia 3T MRI, Philips Ingenuity 128 slice CT scanner, Philips Digital DR X-Rays, Philips DR Fluoroscopy, DR Mammogram, Ultrasound Scanners etc. I began my radiology internship programme in department of radiodiagnosis from 07-09-2017 to 06-03-2018, during which I rotated through all the modalities for eight hours a day, six days a week, under the supervision of senior radiographers and radiologists. For the first two months, under supervision, X-rays, portable X-rays, mammography, fluoroscopy, and ultrasonography were posted. followed by CT scans for the third and fourth months, and MRI for the fifth and sixth months. I spent additional time to practice the scans because I was interested in them while I received training in patient safety, positioning, obtaining patients' informed consent, radiation safety, MRI safety, protocol optimization, patient history gathering, and other aspects related. During my course, I used to present lectures on a variety of medical imaging topics during my internship using real-world clinical scenarios, soon after my internship I started working in SAFA MEDICURE HOSPITAL as a full-time Radiographer from 12-03-2018 to 05-01-2019.
