Managing the appointments with a daily intake of 30-70 patients for CT, 20-40
o cases for MRI, and X-RAY imaging of more than 120 patients.
o Cross check the patient identity (Date of Birth, Full name, Age & UHID)
o Identifying the patient on arrival to radiology department, explaining the

o Planning and managing own and section workload.
o Managing the pressures of accommodating emergency/trauma work in addition
to planned sessions.Assess the radiation risk to patient and ensure it is kept as
low as reasonably achievable ALARA principle, and assess any additional risk
involved within the respective modality. Knows how to adapt technique
accordingly.
o Provides radiation protection devices to the patient.
o Monitoring the patient after examination for any allergic reactions.

o Check the stock and emergency medicine.

3) Fluoroscopic investigations such as intravenous Urography, Hysterosalpingography, Barium studies. 4) huConventional x-ray examinations (skull, sinuses, upper and lower extremities, abdomen and pelvis e.t.c )
• I am also able to effectively provide Radiological services in all units of the Hospital such as theatre, wards, in-patient and out-patient clinic, accident and emergency unit, intensive care unit, Pediatrics and special care baby units.
