]]> Dr Vijay Papineni is a Consultant Radiologist with special interest Musculoskeletal Radiology, Sports imaging and Abdominal imaging. He was awarded MRCS by Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow in 2000 following his surgical training. He completed his Radiology specialist training from Sheffield Radiology Training Scheme in South Yorkshire, UK and obtained FRCR from Royal College of Radiologist, UK in 2006. Following which he was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Clinical Radiology. He was also awarded Diploma in MSK Radiology by European Society of Skeletal Radiology (ESSR) and Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Education by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2013. He worked as a full time Consultant Radiologist at for the more than 6 yrs at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He was awarded the title of Honorary Senior Lecturer by University of Sheffield for his contribution to teaching the medical students. He relocated to UAE 5yrs ago, currently working as a full time Consultant Radiologist to Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, which is a large tertiary hospital with 451 beds and is also the main regional trauma centre. He has several publications including a book chapter.
